Two matches will take place today. Delhi will face Lucknow before blockbuster between Hyderabad and Chennai. 1st match preview : In first match of super sunday, Delhi will try to take two points and reach in top 4 while Lucknow will try to make their position stronger and climb to second spot. Delhi has some issues regarding their middle order, which they will try to fix. Lucknow need to play with good positioning of batters. 2nd match preview: In the second match, Dhoni will lead again his team because yesterday, he became captain again on Jadeja's request. He is performing good but his team is on last second position and almost out of the tournament.  Hydrabad is now on 4th position and would like to remain in top 4 by winning this game. Many people(Aakash Chopra on his you tube channel) thought that their team is not good but they impressed and surprised everybody by their stunning performance. Question for Chennai fans: How many times did Chennai play in the finals?

On occasion of Rohit Sharma's birthday, his team gifted him a victory although he did not score much runs. 1st innings: After winning the toss, Mumbai begun with ball very well. Their bowlers were quite economical in starting and also took continuous wickets on one end. On the other end, Jos Buttler stayed till 16th over when he hit 4 sixes in first 4 balls of over but got dismissed by Hrithik Shokeen at the last ball on 67 runs. Hetmyer scored only 6 runs and played 14 balls. At the end, Ashwin made some runs which cause the target of 159 for Mumbai. 2nd innings: Rohit got out by Ashwin in 3rd over. Ishan Kishan played a small but important knock. Suryakumar played incredibly and made partnership with Tilak Verma and scored 50. Tim David scored quick runs and helped Mumbai to take their first two points in this season. Question for Mumbai fans : In which year Mumbai won their 2nd title? 

In the match of the day, RCB was playing against Gujarat. Hardik Pandya won the toss and ask Faf Duplesis to bat. Kohli scored 58 but took too many balls before got out by Shami. Rajat Patidar and Maxwell played brilliant innings and helped RCB to set the total of 170. This total was not enough for victory. No one made fifty from Gujarat but all their batters played impressive innings to chase the target down in 19.3 overs with six wickets in hand. Tewatia was the highest scorer with 43 runs from just 25 balls. Miller also stayed on crease until the end of the game. Huge change in CSK as Jadeja gave leadership role to Dhoni again. Dhoni's captaincy stats are marvellous as under his captaincy, CSK won 121 out of 204 matches. He is the only captain, who played 9 finals and as a player, he played 10.CSK is the second successful team after Mumbai with 4 titles in IPL. CSK has played 8 matches this season and are now on 9th position with only 4 pionts. Dhoni played some good innings this season but Jadeja did not perform well. 

In 1987, Rohit Sharma was born today. He is one of the greatest batsman of India and now leading India in all formats.  He is most successful captain in IPL. In his captaincy, Mumbai won 5 tittles. Although at present, he is not at his best but he will come in form soon. He is the only person to score 3 double tons in ODIs and he also made the highest individual score in one day cricket (264). Lucknow vs Punjab result: In 42nd match of IPL, Punjab faced loss against KL Rahul's team. Although Punjab won the toss and stopped Lucknow below 160 but because of their dissapointing batting, they suffered from another loss. In first innings, De Cock and Hooda played good innings after the losing early wicket of captain Rahul. At one stage, they were 98 for 2, when Quinten got dismissed by Sandeep Sharma but then they lost the control and somehow managed to set the total of 153.Rabada took 4 wickets in 4 overs and Arshdeep was quite economical.  In Punjab's innings, Bairstow was the highest scorer with 32 runs. They were unable to chase the target and fell 20 runs short from the score of Lucknow. Mayank Agarwal said "I think we just kept losing wickets. We had batsman who were set and we kept getting out. Australian squad has been announced for the tour of Sri Lanka, which will begin on 7th of June with T20Is followed by ODI and test series. Some big names will make a comeback in T20 series, however, Adam Zampa will be on rest. In addition, test captain will not play in T20Is. Match review: In the match of last night, Delhi won and made ways more difficult for Kolkata. Pant won the toss and opted for bat. Delhi started well and at one stage, Kolkata's 6 wickets were down at the score around 84 but because of their captain and impressive knock of Rana, they reached at competitive total of 146. Kuldeep once again performed well against his previous team  who gave just fourteen runs in three overs and took 4 wickets. Mustafizur also took 3 wickets in his spell. Talking about second innings, win probability of Kolkata increased  when Shaw got out on golden duck. On the one end, Warner smashed 42 of just 26 balls.  Then Powell showed his ability and smashed 33 runs on the strike rate of 206. This caused 5th loss of KKR in a row. Shreyas Iyer said "we started off really slowly and lost early wickets. It (the pitch) was holding a little bit but we did not get a good score." Ben Stokes, the new leader: When Root left the captaincy of England, all were giving different views on new captain. Most of the masses thought that there is no better option than Stokes but some others were saying Buttler to be the new leader. As most people expected, Stokes become new captain and will now lead the test side of England. He has over 5000 test runs and over 174 test wickets. Joe Root left the captaincy : He has left captaincy after dissapointing performance of English team in WTC 2019-2021 and in series against India. Delhi Capitals vs Kolkata Knight Riders Would bean impressive game to watch. If openers will perform good from Delhi, it will rise more issues for KKR. In case of KKR, Iyer would expect something from his bowling unit. Hopefully their coach wouldn't think extraordinary like last game. Younger Iyer should make some runs in order to claim his spot in Indian team.

 In ipl match of last night, Titans were facing Hyderabad. The coin landed as Pandya wanted and he asked Williamson to bat first. From sunrises, Abhishek and Markram rose and hit impressive fifties, which help them to set a good total of 195 which before 2nd innings was looking good. Somehow Titans managed to chase it down in 20 overs as Saha gave them good start and by efforts of Tewatia and Rashid Khan, Titans won an high scoring encounter. On the one side, Umran Malik took 5 wickets and on the other, all bowlers were leaking runs. Surprisingly, most people thought that it would be an match in which we will watch the dominance of bowlers but not anything is predictable in cricket.
