IPL:Lucknow beat Punjab

Lucknow vs Punjab result:

In 42nd match of IPL, Punjab faced loss against KL Rahul's team. Although Punjab won the toss and stopped Lucknow below 160 but because of their dissapointing batting, they suffered from another loss.

In first innings, De Cock and Hooda played good innings after the losing early wicket of captain Rahul. At one stage, they were 98 for 2, when Quinten got dismissed by Sandeep Sharma but then they lost the control and somehow managed to set the total of 153.Rabada took 4 wickets in 4 overs and Arshdeep was quite economical. 

In Punjab's innings, Bairstow was the highest scorer with 32 runs. They were unable to chase the target and fell 20 runs short from the score of Lucknow. Mayank Agarwal said "I think we just kept losing wickets. We had batsman who were set and we kept getting out. So many soft dismissals for us. It is dissapointing."

Double header of today :

Two matches will be played today. The first one is between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Gujarat Titans in which, fans would expect runs from Kohli. It will be followed by the match between Rajasthan Royals and Mumbai Indians. Mumbai Indians are finding their first victory.
