Another loss for Dhoni's team, Gujarat won in low scoring match

In the match between Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans, Dhoni's team faced another loss even though it will not hurt them much because they already are out of the qualifying race. Gujarat made their position stronger in top 2 and Chennai is still at last second position. 

1st innings:

MS Dhoni won the toss and surprisingly, opted to bat first. Gujarat made brilliant start because Shami took the first wicket in 3rd over. Chennai was running at low strike rate. Although Ruturaj Gayakwad scored 53 but he took 49 balls. Jagadeesan also played impressive innings and Chennai set the target of only 134. All bowlers were economical except Yash Dayal. Shami took 2 wickets and Sai Kishore and Rashid Khan took 1-1 wicket. 

2nd innings:

The start of Gujarat was good as their openers made 59 run partnership. Saha made unbeaten 67 in 57 balls. With the help of small innings of Wade and Miller, Gujarat chased the target in 19.1 overs. Saha was the man of the match. Matheesha Pardirana and Moeen Ali took 2 and 1 wickets respectively.
