Captain cool is back, openers shine as Chennai won the game

Chennai stun Hyderabad :

In first match of Dhoni as a captain this season, Chennai beat Hyderabad in a high scoring match. Although their qualification is difficult but not impossible. They are playing do or die matches.

Williamson won the toss and chose to field. Chennai started very well and their both openers made fifties with good strike rate. Ruturaj played outstanding and made 99 runs of 57 deliveries. Devon Conway remained not out till the end and his individual score was 85 of just 55 balls. Chennai set the total of 202 at lose of 2 wickets. Bhuvneshvar Kumar was the only economical bowler. 

In order to chase this massive total, Hyderabad needed to make a good start which they got. Mukesh Choudhary gave breakthrough by taking wicket of Abhishek Sharma in last over of powerplay and on the very next ball, he got the wicket of Rahul Tripathi. After Williamson's wicket in 15th over, only Pooran made some efforts and played quick innings of 64 by the strike rate of almost 200 but he did not got support from other end and Chennai won the game by 13 runs. Mukesh Choudhary took 4 wickets in his 4 overs.
