End of league stage as Punjab won against Hyderabad

In the last match of group stage, Hyderabad got beaten by Punjab. Both teams were eliminated before this match and they had nothing to gain or loss. Punjab ended up their season on 6th position and Hyderabad ended up on 8th position.

1st innings:

Bhuvneshvar Kumar was leading Hyderabad and he choose to bat after winning the toss. Priyam Garg made only 4 whereas Abhishek Sharma again played impressive innings of 43. Small but effective innings by Tripathi, Markram and Pooran and quick knock of Shepherd helped Hyderabad to reach at 157. Nathan Ellis and Harpreet Brar took 3 wickets each. Livingstone and Arshdeep were economical.

2nd innings:

Punjab begun with pace even though they lost Jonny Bairstow in third over. Dhawan made 39 in 32 deliveries before stunning knock by Livingstone, who scored 49 in just 22 balls and secured a win for his team. Punjab chased the target in only 15 overs. Fazalhaq Farooqi took 2 wickets and all of Punjab bowlers were expensive.
