In the battle between Fire and Ice, Kohli won although he is not the captain
In the 54th match of IPL, Hyderabad faced loss against Bangalore. Now Hyderabad needs win in all three matches in order to qualify. On the other hand, Bangalore can confirm their qualification by winning the remaining games.
1st innings:
Royal Challengers Bangalore won the toss and surprisingly, opted to bat first. Kohli gone on golden duck but after losing his wicket, captain leaded from the front with support of Rajat Patidar. Faf Duplesis scored 73* and Patidar got out just before his fifty. Maxwell also contributed to the scoreboard with his impressive innings. Karthik finished with his stunning knock of 30 in just 8 balls including 4 sixes and one four. Jagadeesha Suchith took 2 wickets by giving 30 runs in his four overs.
2nd innings:
Hyderabad started very badly because they lost both of their openers in first over. Only Rahul Tripathi, Adam Markram and Nicholas Pooran reached on double digit scores. Tripathi made 58 in37 balls and was the highest scorer from Sunrises Hyderabad. Josh Hazlewood took 2 wickets and was very economical because he gave only 17 runs in his four overs. Hyderabad got all out in 20th over and lost the match by 67 runs.
