Hitman's team lost in a close encounter
In a do or die match, Hyderabad won against Mumbai. Now they have to win their last match with huge margin to qualify and also have to pray for lose of other teams. This match wasn't very crucial for Mumbai as they are no longer in the qualifying race.
1st innings:
Rohit Sharma won the toss and opted to field first. Daniel Sams got first wicket of Abhishek Sharma before brilliant partnership between Tripathi and Priyam Garg. Priyam made 42 in 26 deliveries and Tripathi played stunning knock of 76 and was the highest scorer from Hyderabad. Nicholas Pooran also hit 2 fours and 3 sixes in his quick innings of 38 runs. Apart from Bumrah and Ramandeep singh, all bowlers were expensive. Ramandeep took 3 wickets and Hyderabad set massive target of 194 in front of Mumbai.
2nd innings:
Mumbai started well as both of their openers were scoring runs at good strike rate. First wicket of Mumbai fell in form of Rohit Sharma in 11th over. Just after him, Ishan Sharma got dismissed by Umran Malik on 43. Then the fans watched show of Tim David, who scored 46 at the strike rate of over 250. Bhuvneshvar Kumar bowled a maiden 19th over and 19 runs were remaining in the final over. Mumbai fell 4 runs short of the target and Hyderabad won the match by 3 runs.
