After beating England in shorter format, now India will compete in ODI series against the hosts

India won the T20 series by 2-1 and now they will look to clinch the 3-match ODI series against England. Recently, England posted the highest team total in ODIs against Netherlands without some big names, so their batting can produce a lot of difficulties for India, not only because some big guns are coming back but also because Bhuvneshvar Kumar will not play the ODIs. In T20Is, he was absolutely brilliant in powerplay and his bowls were swinging much more than others.
Head to head record in ODIs:
                       England            India
Matches         103                  103
Won                 43                    55
At Kennington oval, England won 5 out of 8 matches and they also won 3 out of last 5 matches between both teams. This is the first time when Jos Buttler will play as a full time captain in ODIs so he will look to open his account with a win. Joe Root can play vital role for the British team as he is in outstanding touch and he averages over 50 against India in ODIs.
Virat Kohli is in doubt for the first ODI but if he will be fit, he will definitely play and India would expect good performances from him and other big names. Ravindra Jadeja can lead India to win this game as he is the top wicket-taker from India against England.
