Despite of the top-order failure, India clinched the series

In the 3rd and last match of ODI series, India defeated England by 5 wickets. With this victory, India ended the England tour and now they will play the series against West Indies whereas England will compete with South Africa in ODIs.
1st innings:
England came to bat first after losing the toss and set the target of 260 in front of India. India begun well as Siraj got Bairstow and Root for duck before the crucial partnership between Roy and Stokes. Jason Roy was looking dangerous but just before end of the powerplay, Pandya sent him back on 41. Pandya got his second in the 14th over, when he sent Stokes to the pavilion. Buttler came back in form and hit his first fifty as a full time captain. Moeen Ali supported him by making important 34. Livingstone and Overton played small knocks but England got all out in 46th over on 259. Pandya took 4 wickets and was economical too and Chahal got 3.
2nd innings:
India did not start well as they lost their top three on only 38 runs. Suryakumar Yadav also departed on low score before the outstanding knocks of Rishabh and Hardik. Pant hit his maiden ton(125) in ODIs and Pandya scored 71 in only 55 balls. Reece Topley took 3 wickets but that were not enough to win the game for England.
