Blackcaps win another thriller and whitewashed Ireland in the ODI series
In the final ODI of the 3-match ODI series against Ireland, New Zealand won by 1 run and also clinched the series by 3-0. They won the initial two matches because of the great performances of Michael Bracewell, who also contributed in this match and won the award of player of the series.

Kiwis posted a massive total in first innings after winning the toss. They were running at good strike rate from the beginning as both of their openers were playing brilliantly. Martin Guptill was the top scorer from the side by scoring 115 runs. Henry Nicholls(79) and Glenn Phillips(47) also played impressive and quick knocks. Michael Bracewell played another crucial knock(21 runs in 16 deliveries), he also led New Zealand to win in previous two games. Andy Mcbrine was the only economical bowler from Ireland even though, he remained wicketless.
2nd innings:
Ireland lost their captain in just 2nd over but the partnerships of Paul Stirling with Andy Mcbrine and Harry Tector were absolutely brilliant. Stirling and Tector, both hit tons with brilliant strike rate and at one stage, Ireland was looking favorite to win the game but after losing their wickets, Ireland lost the control and fell short by just 1 run. They needed 10 runs from the last over but they were unable to do it. Mark Henry took 4 wickets at the expense of 68 runs in four overs and was the most successful kiwi bowler in that match.
