Ben Stokes ended his ODI carrer with a lose, South Africa win the 1st ODI

In the last ODI match of Ben Stokes, England got defeated by South Africa. After Eoin Morgan's retirement, England won only 2 matches out of 7 they played and they have not played 50 overs in past four matches(first time since 2014).
1st innings:
South Africa won the toss and opted to bat first in Durham. They started well and lost only one wicket in powerplay. Janneman Malan and Aiden Markram hit fifties from the proteas whereas Van Der Dussen was the top scorer with his carrer best 134. Only Brydon Carse and Moeen Ali had economy below 6 from England and they both took 1 wicket each. South Africa posted a massive total of 333, their highest ever in ODIs in England.
2nd innings:
England got good start to chase the huge target as their openers made their 14th hundred run partnership (most by any batting pair for England in ODIs). Joe Root came back in form and made impressive 86 in 77 deliveries and was the top scorer from his side. Apart from the top three, none of the other batters crossed 20 run-mark and England got all out on 271 in 47th over. Anrich Nortje took 4 wickets and South Africa took the lead in the series by winning first match by 62 runs. 
After the match, Ben Stokes said that there is too much cricket teams are playing, which is stressful for the players. He said "we are not cars where you can just fill up with petrol or diesel and let us go."
