Jayasuriya destroyed Australia on his debut, Australia ended the Sri Lanka tour with a dissapointing lose

In the last match of Sri Lanka tour, Australia faced dissapointing defeat by an innings and 39 runs. With this win, Sri Lanka ended the test series on 1-1 and overall, both teams won 5 matches each including all formats. Australia won the T20I series whereas hosts clinched the ODI series and ended up the test series on draw. 

On day 4, Dinesh Chandimal completed his maiden double ton in international cricket and Sri Lanka made their highest ever innings total against Australia. In the second innings, Aussies were never in control and they got all out on 151.

Prabath Jayasuriya begun his carrer with 12 wickets in a match, best test figures on debut for Sri Lanka by a bowler. After taking 6 in first innings, he destroyed Australia by taking another six and conceding only 59 runs in second innings. Labuchagne was the top scorer from Australia with 32 runs followed by Khawaja(29) in second innings.
