Australia vs Sri Lanka: 5th ODI preview

Australia will play the 5th ODI today on Colombo, they already have lost the series after losing the last match by 4 runs. Sri Lanka defeated Australia in bilateral series on their home soil after three decades. After losing the first match, they did very good job and won the next three games by team effort.

Australia is struggling because of the injuries, recently Travis Head got injured and ruled out from this match and unlikely to play the 1st test as well. Glenn Maxwell is added to the test squad and he is likely to make a comeback in test cricket after 5 years.

In the previous matches, Sri Lanka posted 258 on the board because of brilliant knock by Asalanka.

They bowled 43 overs of spin in that match and defended that total. Warner came back in form in 4th ODI and played beautifully but missed the ton by just 1 run. Australia would expect more from their batters as they found themselves unable to chase in couple of matches in this series. Sri Lanka will try to do the same as they did in previous matches.
