India won the rain affected 1st T20 against Ireland

In the first T20I, India beat Ireland by 7 wickets and with this win, India took the lead of 1-0 in a two match-series. In this match, overs were reduced to 12 because of the rain interruption.
1st innings:
Hardik Pandya won the toss and opted to field first, which later proved to be the right decision as India took 3 wickets under 4 overs on 22 runs only. Then, Harry Tector made stunning 64 in just 33 balls and remained not out till the end and Ireland set the total of 108 in 12 overs. Bhuvneshvar Kumar and Chahal, both took 1 wicket each and were economical too.
2nd innings:
India got the start which they needed, Kishan got out on team score of 30 runs out of which, he scored 26. Suryakumar Yadav went on golden duck before the incredible performance of Hooda, who scored 47 in only 29 balls. Pandya also made his contribution by scoring 24 runs in 12 deliveries and India won the match in only 9.2 overs. Chahal became  man of the match for his impressive bowling figures and India took the lead by winning this match.
