England close to clean sweep in test series, cricket updates

England vs New Zealand :
In the 3rd test match, England is only 113 runs away from the victory. They already have won the series by winning the first two matches and they would look to whitewash New Zealand by winning this one.
Kiwis made 329 in first innings because of the century made by Mitchell after winning the toss. Jack Leach took 5 wickets but also conceded 100 runs. Then, England begun badly as they lost 6 wickets on just 55 runs before the incredible partnership between the debutant, Jamie Overton and Jonny Bairstow. Overton played brilliantly but unfortunately, he missed the ton by just 3 runs. Bairstow hit 162 in only 157 deliveries and England made 360 in their first innings.
New Zealand made 326 in their second innings as their captain and vice-captain came back in form. Blundell delivered again and Mitchell also scored 56 and helped New Zealand to set the competitive total of 296, Leach agains took fifer. In the 2nd innings of England, the start was good for New Zealand as they took 1st wicket on only 17 runs before taking the second one on 51 but then, their former captain, Root stayed on the crease with Pope till the end of the day. They both are unbeaten and have made partnership of over 100 runs. They now need only 113 runs and they have 8 wickets in hand. New Zealand have to take wickets quickly and continously to win this match but at present, they are on backfoot.
