Nissanka led Sri Lanka to their 2nd win of the ODI series

In the third match of ODI series, Sri Lanka won by 6 wickets and now they are leading the series by 2-1. For Australia, the remaining games will be do or die whereas Sri Lanka needs only one win to clinch the series trophy.
1st innings:
Australia won the toss and opted to bat first, they were playing without Pat Cummins and Steve Smith. Australia did not begin well as they lost the early wicket of Warner, who scored only 9. Then captain stayed on the crease but on the other end, Marsh went after scoring only 10 runs. Aaron Finch played beautiful knock of 62 even though, he took 85 deliveries. Alex Carey and Travis Head played brilliantly, Carey missed the fifty by just 1 run while Head made unbeaten 70 in 65 balls. Maxwell and Labuchagne, both played small but effective innings and helped Australia to set the impressive total of 291. Sri Lankan bowlers were not good at all and their fielding was also not too impressive.
2nd innings:
Sri Lanka started well before losing the first wicket in 8th over in the form of Dickwella. After that, Nissanka and Mendis dominated and made a huge partnership of over 150 runs. Mendis got retired hurt after making brilliant 87 and after him, De Silva scored impressive 25. Nissanka hit his maiden ton and played incredible knock of 137. Richardson took couple of wickets in 48th over but it was too late. Inexperienced Australian bowling attack found themselves unable to stop runs and take wickets, Hazlewood was not at his best. Sri Lanka won the third ODI by 6 wickets and took the lead of 2-1.
