Happy birthday to South African legend, Dale Steyn
On this day, Dale Steyn was born in 1983 in Phalaborwa. He made his test debut for South Africa in 2004 against England but his peak started from the away tour of Pakistan. In case of ODIs, he made his debut in 2005 against the Asia 11 whereas he played his first T20I in 2007 against the Kiwis.
He was one of the best bowler in test cricket in world as he remained on top of the ICC test rankings for 6 years and helped South Africa to win many overseas series during that time. He was also brilliant in ODIs and T20Is but not as much as the tests.

He was the second fastest bowler to reach 250 wickets in test cricket and was the fastest South African bowler to reach at 400 wicket landmark.
